Project Stoneridge

When our clients began building their custom home, they envisioned an elevated farmhouse aesthetic — refined yet relaxed, bright yet inviting. They wanted to highlight the home’s soaring ceilings and airy palette while creating a warm, comfortable environment for their family to gather in. Referred to us by a past client, they brought us on to guide the design direction — overseeing space planning, material selections, furnishings, lighting, and final styling throughout the main living spaces.

Our approach focused on harmony and flow, ensuring every detail worked cohesively from one room to the next. The repetition of stone from the entryway to the fireplace wall, the continuity of wood tones, and the soft, layered drapery all contributed to a serene and grounded aesthetic. A once-awkward nook was reimagined with dramatic dark wallpaper and art, inspiring subtle accents of earthy colour — green, caramel, and blue — that enlivened the neutral palette.

The result is a home that feels effortless yet considered — a bright, welcoming space that balances elegance with ease and reflects both the land that surrounds it and the family who calls it home.
